What the warranty covers, what it does not, and what happens to your money if a parcel is seized or an order is cancelled. Where we have not settled a rule yet, this page says so rather than inventing one. Read it with the Terms of Sale and the shipping policy — the three are one set and carry one version number.
This limited warranty is provided voluntarily by Melanoir Co., Ltd., the seller of this product. It is provided separately from, and does not replace or restrict, any rights available under applicable consumer protection law.
Melanoir Co., Ltd. warrants that, where the product has been used and stored in accordance with the instructions in the product information guide supplied with it, it will provide a remedy for defects in materials or manufacture identified within the product’s shelf life — two years from the date of manufacture, in unopened condition. Where such a defect is confirmed, Melanoir will, at its own discretion, either (1) replace the product or (2) refund the purchase price. The remedies under this warranty are limited to replacement or refund.
Proof of purchase is required for warranty service. Where the product was purchased through a distributor or reseller, please submit claims through that point of purchase. Service options may vary by country.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
Melanoir does not warrant or represent any particular outcome of use, including degree of pigmentation or symmetry, and accepts no liability for outcomes arising from the practitioner’s technique, from inadequate aftercare, or from an individual’s constitutional characteristics, including allergic reactions. The limits set out here do not apply to liability for death or personal injury, or for fraud or gross negligence, where applicable product liability law makes such liability mandatory. The full statement is in the Terms of Sale.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
If your parcel is seized or returned and cannot be delivered, we will refund the product price once the outcome is confirmed. Shipping fees are non-refundable, and we do not re-ship seized orders.
This wording forms part of the Terms of Sale you accept when you place an order, and we record which version of it you accepted, with the time you did. What customs may do to a parcel, and what we will and will not say about it, is set out on the shipping page.
To ask about an order — to cancel it, to change it, or to ask where it is — write to official@melanoir.co.kr with your order number. Every order number begins with MNR- and is on your confirmation email.
While payment is not open, the order form registers a pre-order and takes no money, so there is nothing to refund. Once payment opens, it is taken through PayPal. Melanoir does not hold your card details at any point; PayPal handles the payment itself. A refund is returned the same way it came in — back through PayPal, to the account that paid.
We do not state here how long a refund takes to appear or what PayPal deducts on the way, because those conditions are not confirmed on our side yet. We would rather leave the line blank than tell you a number that turns out to be wrong.
For any request not covered above, contact official@melanoir.co.kr. Tell us the order number and what you would like to happen, and we will answer.
Seek medical care first — reporting to us is not a substitute for it.
Then report it at melanoir.co.kr/report. If the form will not work for you, write to official@melanoir.co.kr and we will take the report by email instead.
An adverse event report is not a warranty claim and does not have to be one. Filing costs you nothing, requires no purchase, and can be done without giving your name. What happens to that report is set out in the privacy notice.
